A High Court challenge threatens the existence of many of the 500 chaplains in state schools across Queensland… as well as the future of more than 2500 other school chaplains across Australia.

Australia’s School Chaplaincy program is facing a constitutional challenge in the High Court as a Toowoomba man opposes the Commonwealth funding of chaplains in state schools.

This will have a direct impact on the care of kids in schools.

SU QLD, its school chaplains and supporters will fight this High Court challenge over the coming months.
